Union (A ∪ B)

The probability that at least one of the events A or B occurs.

Intersection (A ∩ B)

The probability that both events A and B occur.

Complement (¬A)

The probability that event A does not occur.

Conditional (A|B)

The probability that event A occurs given that event B has already occurred.

Union of Events:

P(A ∪ B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A ∩ B)

For independent events: P(A ∩ B) = P(A) * P(B)

Intersection of Events:

P(A ∩ B) = P(A) * P(B|A)

For independent events: P(A ∩ B) = P(A) * P(B)

Complement of Event:

P(¬A) = 1 - P(A)

Conditional Probability:

P(A|B) = P(A ∩ B) / P(B)
